Possibles pouch or scottish sporran

Wow what a great response guys thank a lot for your comments:D,you seem like a cool bunch of guys.Sorry it has took me a bit of time get back to you having issues logging on here.Grampa wanted to see the back so I think I take a few more pics tomorrow.The needles in the photo are agave needles,Thanks again for some very cool feedback made my day:)

I'm betting the thorns are acacia and can be used for skewering something or sewing something else....
 
This is a wee pouch project I have just finished:D.It's used as sporran if you wearing your kilt,it also doubles as a possible pouch when you are in the bush.As you can see I used a Turk's head knot as a button.

The pouch open with a few bits of my bushcraft kit.

Ooh, looks awful similar to my Opinel and Royal Selangor hipflask. :D
