It seems from looking around the web and ending back at e-bay, The yellow Schrade Walden knife above is actually an SWA787Y made under license from Taylor brands.
most likely by Camillus as the one I saw earlier had the plastic see through packaging.
hard to make out the words on the card insert, although very similar to the one I bought back in late 2004 early 2005 which came with a trapper model.

The following information is what is printed on the cardboard insert of the post 2004 Schrade Walden "Tube Knives" with the SWA787Y type of numbering. I think the plastic tubes were acquired when the assets were acquired, and new cardboard inserts were printed.
The Schrade cutlery company was founded in 1904 in Walden, NY. The quality of the cutlery produced was unique to the industry at that time. They grew to manufacture a full range of value-priced folding pocket knives. Albert M. Baer, the owner of Ulster Knife Company which was founded in Ellenville, NY, purchased Schrade Cutlery Company in 1946 and renamed it the Schrade Walden Cutlery Corporation. It became a division of the Imperial Knife Associated Companies group. The Schrade Walden division was moved from Walden, NY to Ellenvville NY in 1958. The Ellenville, NY factory closed in 2004. Production of these knives was moved to Camillus, NY.
Used under License from Taylor Cutlery, LLC.
Anyone following Ebay knows these knives are pretty common, and are showing up in auctions as "new old stock" and "lightly used" and not necessarily in the original packaging. Some are already used. Not all are easy to spot.
Some, but not all are getting bids as if they are the pre-1973 authentics.
