Post a pic of your favorite CRK you own....

Tough question......kinda like "which of your children do you like best".....not so easy to answer.

Strangely, I think it's this small 21. Mainly because of the long saga it's been through to where it is now. It's for sure one-of-a-kind, impossible to replace, and has probably no re-sale value due to my tinkering and personalization, so I gotta keep it anyways. Perfect little knife.

Definitely not my most valuable or my prettiest, but it's my go to knife because I am sure it can handle anything I throw at it and that's been tested over and over again. This year it dropped twenty five feet onto concrete without knocking it off center and then it went through a baler. I spotted it on my next pass sticking out of the bale after a knotter issue. 😳 Yes I am an idiot and I don't deserve to use such nice knives.

Great Thread Iron City....!!! Well, for those that know me or of me, know that I can't pick just ONE...!!! That would be near impossible as I love several different ones for different reasons. The shadow III will always be special as it was my 1st CRK way back when. My large regular BG-42 because it was my 1st Sebenza. I could go on and on. You all know I love the CGG/UG sebenzas and even among those, I have my favorites. But as the thread stated, I will post just One Picture and it's definitely among My Favorites....! And NO, it's Not For Sale as I get asked weekly and daily even. Sorry Folks.

Behold......The CRK Large Regular Native American CGG.

My collection consists of every CRK folder currently in production (in one form or another), and while I love them all, my favorite knife is actually my least expensive. If I could only have one CRK, it'd be this one:

Small 21 Insingo Micarta

I could ask for nothing more in an EDC knife.

It's not so easy to choose the one...
...but for me it will be my first CRK knife - Umnumzaan (especially with my little mod)

Can you tell me more about this knife? It is a "P" Sebenza, right? And the bale is ATS-34 with the different thumb stud?

What other differences are there from that and the Regular and new 21?

Also does this one have a pocket clip or is minus a pocket clip?

I am asking because I would really like to know more about why the "P" Sebenzas are considered special?

I can chime in with part of the answer. There was a short period of time when Chris was still offering 'H' "handmade" Sebenzas (which I assume were being made with a template pattern and a hand operated mill) alongside the new "P" or "production" Sebenzas being made the new-fangled computer controlled CNC machines. The Ps are less special than the Hs, but both are super rare these days. A "P" Sebenza is about the earliest Sebenza example attainable by mortals. The H's are all in the collections of various gods.

That is great info. Thanks.

One more question. Do some "P" Sebenzas have pocket clips and others don't? Or are they all without pocket clips?

Most do not have clips. I had #57 and it had a clip. I believe it was one of the first ones.

Only one, and it can't be pictured with other knives.

You can have only one sentence to describe why it is your favorite.

Try to keep from responding to other's posts to keep the string pure.

"Love the wood grain and how smooth it operates."

It's like hearding cats...eh? ;)

I like your Umnumzaan mod! Never seen anyone do that before. Did you just order the standard screws & standoff from CRK for the lanyard hole?
