Post a picture of your knife at the supermarket...be creative ...this could be fun:)

Not trying to be a downer, but many grocery stores have surveillance cameras monitored by "loss prevention" personnel. They can zoom in on what you're doing.

I don't mean to sound paranoid, but pulling out a knife in a grocery store for the sake of taking pictures, when there are other shoppers and employees in that store, might bring unwanted attention from store security personnel, and possibly a call to the police.

People behaving oddly with knives in public places can attract all sorts of unwanted and negative attention.

It's one thing to take out a knife in public to cut something, but to take out a knife in a grocery store for the sake of a photo shoot might strike many people as very odd, and perhaps frightening behavior. I myself would consider it very odd if I saw someone do it.

These days I'm sure whipping out a large tactical folder in a public store, for a photo shot just might get the cops, or store security called on you.

And that's a fairly "tactical-ly" knife for most people, I would think. I do like the idea, and I love cheese. But yeah. I'm interested in how people reacted to that, if you noticed anything.

Fun idea but here in Belgium NOBODY carries a knife, and if you do you are considered a dangerous low life criminal so doing that here would be like a very big wtf
But i would if it america

That's a shame. Sadly, if everyone believes that, it will be a vicious cycle of no one but the criminals carrying them, so that one who is not a criminal will not be thought of as such. And round and round.

Well so much for my next thread titled ..."Post a pic of your knife at your local child care center" ....

I carry two knives at all times, a SAK and a big locking folder. At work people see the Sak all the time. Only a few people there know I have the other ones. Same goes for out in public places, I can pull out the small knife use it put it away and nobody even notices.

I agree unless you work there and its after hours or something you're asking for trouble
