By the way, how do you like the handles on those CRK kitchen knives? They look a little skinny, with too much steel showing, but then again, they might be fine. What are your thoughts? Oughta be better steel than 99% of kitchen knives...

This is how I my store my knife collection inside a safe. Each in a labeled knife pouch with dessicant inside :)

rod tak: the small Busse is a Hack Bear Cub. It is a fantastic EDC knife. I had it with me all day today. Thin and great for slicing, and sharpens up easier than any other blade I own. Here it is with the rest of todays EDC:

Rob Avenger: I was also skeptical about the handles on the CR Sikayos, but after using them I wish all my other kitchen knives had handles like them. They are dedicated right hand use with the palm side being thicker than the other. They are very ergonomic. The material seems like it should be slippery when wet, but it isn't. Actually very grippy. As far as the steel and knife go in general, they are fantastic for everything in the kitchen with the exception of cutting large potatoes. Sounds stupid, but the thickness of the blade at the spine makes large potatoes the most difficult thing to cut. They are without a doubt the sharpest knives I have ever owned. The only knives that have actually been "scary sharp" to me. I use them exclusively in the kitchen now except for a small paring knife. They are holding an incredible edge and I would buy any smaller CR kitchen knives instantly if they were offered.

SWEEEEET!!!!! Oh yeah! Put me in a room with those blades, and a couple of supermodels.....and the supermodels are on their own....those blades are totally f***in AWESOME!!!!!

Glad you like them! Like rinos said, though, the analogy would work better if you replace "a room" with "the woods" :p

A member here TheCarbideRat ground it into a tanto for me. It has bumped my Reese converted framelock Super CQC7 out of my pocket. I really like it.

Just kidding :D I know how you feel. Some of these collections are
beasts! Makes mine feel inadequate. But it makes me feel less guilty
buying more. lol!
