Help me out Ladies and Gentlemen.
What are two good books about surviving in the woods and bushmen type stuffs?
Thanks!
Talulla

Check out The Ten Bushcraft Books by Robert Graves

Also check out the Army or Marines survival Manual

Hey Mrs. Sivlerthorn. If its for your old man you might consider getting him a how to fend off Moose attacks in the middle of the night book. (Let him explain it!)

Bushcraft by Graves or Kochanski are good. Wildwood Wisdom is decent. SAS Survival Guide is another good one.

The book written by Nessmuk is a classic, even though the name of it is escaping me at the moment. Or of course there's always Mykel Hawke's guide.

Nessmuk's is "woodcraft and camping." It's public domain and online iirc. Also Kephart's "camping and woodcraft" is great. Kephart's is dedicated to Nessmuk, and is two volumes in one, perhaps explaining the similar titles...
