Post knives in your collection that you would never sell!

This one I will NEVER sell. It was in my pocket for the stillbirth of my first son, and the only keepsake I had with me to photograph with him in the brief moment we held him.

It was with me again for the birth of my second son, who now has 3 CRKs waiting on him (he's 3.) That makes this small lefty Sebenza 21 Rhino CGG the only item on the planet to be in the hands of both my boys. It will NEVER be sold while I'm still alive.

My Kabar because it has a lot of sentimental value.

Randall 14 because it was a gift.

CRK Pacific... well if someone threw down enough bills I might change my mind.

Things will likely change as I get older and more decrepit. Unable to use them for any real use, and passing them on to someone who can appreciate them.

Wow, love that small Busse in the middle.
Anniversary Mean Street (AMS) - one of the best knives they ever made. I’ve had several, but this one’s the keeper. It’s broken down miles of cardboard and unzipped more game than I can remember.

The coating was getting to where the logo would be gone soon, so I etched the logo and stripped it. Me and my son watched Top Gun Maverick while we took turns polishing her up.

After all that I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This is a Cold Steel Ti-lite 6 that I converted into an auto. It took me several years to figure out the mechanics and refine the design into what is pictured below. Ever since I received my first Ti-lite 6 I dreamed of an automatic version, and ever since I was a kid I dreamed of owning a heavy-duty stiletto switchblade. This knife is both of those dreams come true, and I consider it one of my greatest accomplishments.

I've made ten, I've sold most of those, but I'm keeping two for myself which I would never sell. One reason is because they are prized possessions, another is that I don't intend to make any more.

First that is heart wrenching.😢

To try to hit the lighter side if your son has 3 CRKs at 3 will he have 4 at 4 and so on?

That may be how it shakes out. Two of them are made on the day he was born. One I was able to snag by contacting dealers that CRK told me received knives made that day. I came across a second one made that day on the secondary and had to have it. One is a unique graphic and the other is a micarta inlay. So one for display and one to use hard.

I also have a unique that was born on my kiddo's birthday, and an Arius that also was born on her birthday. They are both firmly in her "pile". 😍
