btw Mr. Kerins, i noticed you had a picture of a Bucklite on your photobucket. How does that perform in relation to the 110?

It performs the same but with much less weight, which makes cleaning chores in the field a lot easier. It also allowed Buck to market the 110 at a lower price point. Another great variation along the same line as the Bucklite is the Buck Selector which allows you to change blades.

i can't find the model with finger grooves that you have on buck's website. Do you have a link to any online store that sells it?

Unfortunately they've been discontinued for some time. You can normally find one on ebay from time to time. It's the model 426. Happy hunting!

If you mean the Titanium 560 in 334dave's pic, eBay sells it... :D

The holes are Dave's work... :)

Sinkolen...
Are you referring to the top knife in Dave's pic?
That's a 560.
Goose.

I walked away and saw that Trax posted with the same info....yeah, what Trax said. They are failry easy to get on e-bay. I have one or two...even one that was marketed on eBay with a Titanium blade (!!!!) the xLTi.
Really like 'em for the looks, weight, and thinner liners, but it just didn't feel right...the angles in the firger grooves would have to be a bit more beveled for my liking. But it's a knice knife.

hi goose
i may be wrong but i think the xlti is the regular titanium handle with the standard blade and a crystal finish to the handle , i may be wrong but i think that is what it is , i guess its possible it has a titanium coating on the blade though

I think the "Titanium blade" 560 was a "snooker"... (As in, "Boy, we shore snookered that slicker!!!"...) :D

I have a pair of Custom Shoppe 110's...Top one is polished 420HC/Nickel Silver/Elk...Bottom is satin ATS-34/Nickel Silver FG/Sambar stag...

The Elk courtesy of the Navajo Princess; the Sambar courtesy of the Orange Blossom Proctologist... :)
