A thread like this reminds me of a friend (B.F. name RGrove). He passed away last year with one of the finest dagger collections I know of. Bob was not a profilic poster, but he knew his knives and was one of the nicest folks I had met through knives. Miss ya Bob.
Here is one of my all time favorites that I do not own.
It was made by Van Barnett and won best of show at the U.S. Knifemakers Guild Show in 2000 (may have been '99).
The knife is named "Garden of Eden".

Make that the 1999 KMG Show best of Show (W.W. Cronk award).
The knife has 2.7 ounces of 14K gold and 124 diamonds totaling 3.4 carrots.
Here is one that I got to hold for a few days during the Blade Show last year before it was sent out for engraving. With luck the finishing touches are being made now and I will pick it back up at Blade along with 2 or if I am lucky three M.S. test daggers. (So I will be resurecting this thread in a few weeks .
