Initial impressions:
very solid lock up, good ergonomics (but not quite as good as my ETAK), very nice fit and finish. Weight is just over 6 OZ, so a little heavy, but no more so than most large Emerson folders.
Over all, a very well executed, aesthetically pleasing, solidly built folder which does Ernest's design justice.
I got it for a good price from my local brick and morter store. I think this will be an excellent addition to the family.

This CQC-8 just joined the family 2 days ago. Been working it in, and it's getting smoother.
