^^It has titanium standoffs too.:D

Question for you... I think I read somewhere the newer production a100 has standoffs and the older one has a spacer? The one I just picked up has a spacer can you convert that to have TI standoffs?

The standard A-100 is a backspacer layout. Only the Mini A-100 exist in both formats. It's possible to convert the standard sized A-100 but you will have to use standoffs that have no threads in the drilling so that you can properly secure the handle pieces together. One thing that you will need to be aware of if you choose to go that route is the distance between the screws. Make sure to measure them first and get standoff in a usable diameter or they will make contact not allowing you to feed the screw through from one side to the other.:)

Thanks for info. I think I'll leave it as is in that case.

TheFactor - what's your opinion of the Emerson Sheepdog?

OT - also what pistol is that?

Halfneck it's a great knife it feels so good in hand and the smoothest knife I own and I have a few . It's simplicity at its finest and being my first Emerson I can tell you it won't be my last . The 13 is on my list and maybe a IronDragon . I like this Sheepdog so much I wouldn't doubt it if I picked up another in Stonewash . I can't put it down I'm enjoying it so much and man does it fired hard and fast with ease . Strong detent and blade is dead center.
I definitely can highly recommend it to all my knife lovers . If you like Emersons should love this one !
It's a Springfield Mod 2 45acp she's a sweet shooter. For concealment the flush mag holds 9 plus one in the chamber . Extra mags for backups are 13 rounds . It's my newest addition and one of my go to guns and comfortable to carry .

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. I've been looking at the stonewash spearpoint with partial serrations. Idea is a stout folder that is fast into play, secure in my hand, and useful for utility and defensive scenarios. My CQC-7V has been filling that role lately, but I like the added degree a flipper tab provides in case of accidental closure. The CQC-13 is nice, but never felt as well the CQC-7 in my hand - love the blade profile though.

Sweet shooter & holster set-up.

Your very welcome , oh and as you mentioned the flipper is awesome it does make your hand/finger feel planted even more and protected. Your hand won't be sliding forward on this one !
