Bulldogs are chisel blades. I wish EKI would have v-grind versions of their chisel blades other than the 7.

Does look like a very good mid size... actually looks a bit smaller than the xm-18 ...hmm I may add one shortly ..

Thanks,I agree because I've had my eye on the bulldog and mutant and I'm having trouble warming up to the chisel grinds .

It's notably smaller than the XM, but feels nearly as capable.

For reference:
It has almost exactly the same blade length and overall length as the 0450, but it fights in a totally different weight class. It's very unique for a knife in the 3.25" blade range.

The chisel grind is a moot point for me. It's not going to be used as a food prep knife or a bush craft knife. I've got purpose built blades for those tasks. I'm sure the chisel grind will handle the odd orange or apple, or cut my burrito in half just fine. For all other EDC tasks that I tackle on a daily basis, the chisel grind won't have any effect good or bad.

Was the pimper Ferrk? That back spacer looks like his work.
I don't believe so, as I searched around and spoke with several knife pimpers and most said they thought it was a Manaro job. I've ran across several Manaro knives that had pretty much the same back spacers in them. I don't believe he does this type work anymore and makes his own blades now. I think he used files to do the work back then also.
