Just spent about an hour turning my HD7 into a spanto. Started at 100 grit and went to 1000 in 200 grit increments. Probably overkill but it's quite sharp. Not perfect but for its first sharpening this way I'm happy.
After a few more times sharpening it should be a bit better. Just wanted to see how I would like like it without the tanto since I usually like a spearpoint better.

I see at least 4 customs in there. I've been into Emersons for years and you have as many custom knives as I do. I'd say that's a great collection there even if it is just a start.

Minus the customs most were retail or less.

EDIT: And the CQC13 was a total impulse buy. I would rather I had not bought it, because while it's one of my favorite handle shapes, the bowie blade is not for me.

Was inspired to post some of my own blade shape conversions. I bought a used cqc-15 years ago with a broken tip and black coating for a cheap price. Decided it would be a fun personal project to convert it into a vindicator style blade and do some polish work. I then swapped the blade into an Andrew Charlet Po-boy 15 that I recently picked up used and spent some time slightly refinishing the bolster to reduce the wear marks. The polish work isn't quite done but I like where it is at now with the ghost Emerson logo.

As I mentioned in other threads, the ETAK is one of my favorite models. Particularly the B model. While I do own the ETAK-A version, I thought it would be another fun personal project to do a slight edge re-profiling and convert a B tanto model into a Clip Point model. So I decided to regrind a well used Bill Yester Po-boy. I also spent time cleaning up the scratches on the bolster and refinishing the micarta scales.

Included some sharpened but otherwise original blade profiles as comparison. The original blade shapes made it pretty easy to convert. Doing a CQC-7 tanto to spear point definitely seems more challenging.

That ETAK poboy is sexy. I wish I had the skill and equipment to regrind knives. For now redoing the edge will have to satisfy me. Carried it this week and definitely enjoyed the new edge.
