It's very nice. Very nice. It has what I call the "character micarta" where there are some pits and striping, as opposed to my regular RH which has perfectly smooth, nonvaried micarta. It also lacks the swedge grind found on my production version. Sitting next to the production the tip of the blade of the production drops lower than on the custom, and the blade stock is thicker on the custom. Oh, it is a thick lock side too. I am very lucky to get it.^^^ Oh HELL yeah! Whole lotta' grail right there. So whatcha' think about Custom Jim?
It will get used. I only don't use "undecided" knives. Although sometimes it takes a while to decide.I'm almost ashamed to admit I never noticed the lack of swedge before, which my Custom Jim also lacks. I like that blade that way though. Congrats, they are awesome to use too (hint).
It’s original from a previous release Dealer exclusive. The Emerson and the scoopyloop bead are also really orange.cigarrodog Is that Strider really orange? Or just an altered photo?
Ah. No, this is just the Patriot release still available on EKI site.Well, that there is really special. I was wrong by the way, I was guessing '98 Commander.
Double points for the Bulls hat. I grew up just outside Chicago.
