I am sorry to have been remiss in reporting on the SHOT show adventure...... On the day before SHOT ended Steve Johnson's Grandmother passed away and So did my Brother.....On his birthday at 77.........

Soooooo, I have been more than a little distracted and am currently in Moscow, Idaho with family.......

As to SHOT it was, from a business stand point, very gratifying indeed....... Saw a bunch of friends who make the show pretty much every year both in "the industry" as well as BK&T owner-operators...... That part is always the most satisfying part of any show for me.......I always enjoy time spent with the KA-BAR crowd some of whom you all have spent time with on the phone.... Tara, Kim, John, Joe Bradley and Carson........BTW Carson is coming right along for a sprout....... Steve Johnson is always a pleasure to be around and I always treasure the time I spend with John Benner of TDI fame.....He is one of the worlds best people........ I got to have a good sit down with one of the designers I most admire, the incomparable Bill Harsey.......... The ESSE guys are always the ESSE guys (that is a good thing, I think LOL) and Chris Reeve changeth little, also good( probably... LOL)........

We even did a bunch of business......67,000 people were in attendance.....67,000......WOW......... In one day I talked with people from Russia, Australia, Taiwan , Italy and Canada and Belgium too I think.....

Sorry to hear about your brother. I've lost a brother too, I know how that feels. Glad SHOT went well. Take care.

Very sorry to learn of your brother's passing. Enjoy the time you have w/your family and friends there in Moscow. Even the reason you are gathering may be sad, it is good to reconnect w/friends and family you may not often see.
 
Very sorry for the loss of your brother. Although I do not have a brother I do have two older sisters and a group of brother in laws. I can only imagine the feeling of loosing them. I am very thankful to be able to be a part of this community you have brought together. All of our hearts are right there with you. Thank you so much for everything you have done for all of us.
 
I am sorry for your family's loss Ethan. 77 is just too young in todays day and age. I hope enough joy comes to you to fill the hole, and wash away the sorrow.

I am glad to hear SHOT was a success though. I bet the meeting of the minds was a blast and it sounds like Ka Bar has some fun things headed down the shoot.
 
Truly sorry about the loss of your brother Boss. Please pass along my condolences to Steve about his grandmother. Take your time being with family. After action on SHOT can wait.
