We can try a continuing fairy tale. I'll start:

"Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, a young man wished that he could be a mighty warrior. But alas, he was of common stock, and had not the sponsor to educate, train, and outfit in the garb of the Warrior classes.

"He was a young man of virtue, and honest and stout, but spent his days gathering wood to sell at the village. His only possession of value was his knife."

next?

Does this sound like Brendan to anyone besides me?

So he moved to California, and with much hard work, a few steriods, and a rich wife, he became a famous movie star and eventually the Governor of the state.

I sort of think that our guys are in the same kind of mess that Nam was. Just hard as hell to tell who your enemy really is.:)

When I first went to Viet Nam, I had a clear idea of who the enemy was. It was regulars from the North, and insurgents from the South.

As time went on it became less clear and the ememy became anyone other than "us".

Eventually who "us" were became unclear and the enemy came to include many American officers and government officials.

When it reached the point that the ememy was anyone other than "me", it was time to give up my military career and take another direction.

Cool, thanks for the info and link. You've got to take a picture of your whole collection of sharp pointy things sometime. I've seen you post some amazing stuff here and elsewhere.

Ph.G, no need to invade Nevada, other than the little bit down at the very bottom of the state. Snip off Vegas, and graft it onto Californicate and you're done.

Hey Bruise...

If you're bored, go over to W&C. Those knot-heads will entertain ya! :)

Not much knife or Khuk content though. :(
