"Post Thread" Button Not Available in the Knife Exchange

The "Post Thread" button is not available for me in the Knife Exchange. Can anyone help me on this? I've been away from BF for several years, but I did successfully post three items for sale last weekend but now I'm unable to post anything for sale.
Also, when I drop the price on one of my items, the thread is not bumped to the top. Is this something new? Thanks in advance for any help/advice.

Bumping went the way of the dodo years ago.

I don't know about the posting issue though.

I'll see if I can post one...but can you provide a screen shot of what you see when you try?

And maybe clear cache and try a reboot as well in the meantime.


ETA: I can post a new thread in the Exchange area.

You can post in the same thread...you can relist after two weeks.

When you post in the old thread, folks looking at "new" posts since their last time on the site, will see it, even though the thread is not at the top of the page.

Okay, I found your problem. You are trying to post in the area for knife makers...not the area for individuals. Go back to the Exchange list and open the individual sub-forum.
