These and a 14 on the way!

I had a feeling that would be the case. Need to go work on my sapper skills for your lair.:p

well, given how many were made, and how many i have, and my knowledge of the location of some others, that's REALLY unlikely. as in, never...

but it 's nice try ;)

Thanks for the compliment knifekid. I did it with generic yellow mustard(I'm too cheap for French's:D). All I did was slowly squeeze out a wavy line about 3/16" thick and then I used a small coffee straw to make the little 'barb' looking things. I thought it kinda looked like a thorny vine, some say a tribal tattoo, others think it says something, either way I'm happy with it for it being my first ever patina.
Mike, can you please tell me how you did that patina? It looks beast.

Well my family looks like a bunch of orphans next to some of these monster collections but here they are lazing on a Sunday morning.

Good bump kid. I'm gonna be having to take a new pic pretty soon here.

Here is my current Becker family

6887061647_56e6aecc6c_b.jpg

Left to right is my BK77, BK11, modded Bk10 awaiting a handle, BK2, BK9 (ramp less and pommel less), BK13 (China), BK13 (USA)

Next on my list to get would be the BK5, Bk14, and some BK11 Micarta.

I, rounded up the errant BK2, and here’s all of them.

As some have, I thought about giving them names, like the Norse of old, ‘Leg Cutter,’ ‘Thumb Slicer,’ and ‘Air Splitter,’ But if I started thinking of them as legitimate children, they would be hard to sell into the service of others.

The list: BK0 Reinhardt Kukri, BK1 Brute (X2), BK2 Campanion (X2, 1 part serr.) BK3 TacTool, BK4 Machax, BK5 camp Magnum (X2), BK6 Patrol Machete, BK7 Combat Utility, BK9 Combat Bowie (X3), BK10 Crewman (X2), BK11 Necker, BK12 Perseverance (X2), BK13 Remora (X2), BK14 EsKabar

BKs-15,16 and 17 to be adopted soon.

To free up much needed “cap” space, I am considering the ‘reassignment’ of: A Camillus Brute; the Part serr. BK2; a Camillus BK9; and, an R-B BK12.

Would like to see: A NessMuk shorty, a Hatchet, a…..? (all credit due to those BF members/BHs who have moar imagination and artistic talent than dim witted, cyber-challenged and fumble fingered me!)

Add: To hold the spot for the BK8, Heli Egress Tul, open, I’m gonna get a piece of old Chevy Truck spring (once known to blade makers as OCTS steel,) cut it to shape with an O2/C2H2 torch, drill it and mount a set of surplus black Grivory.

With every chop, slice, baton - I sit still for a moment and ponder the experience. Am I in a multidimensional universe? No, I'm in my backyard hefting the mighty metal slabs of glory known as Beckers. I am humbled. I'm also riding a unicorn with a pint full of craft beer.
