In other news, the Bark River 'Ultralight Bushcrafter' has taken the cake for me as my most carried, all-around, "do just about everything" in a really lightweight package, fixed blade. I bought one several years ago, and given that I have no idea when BR might do another run of these, I decied to order a second one today - natural canvas and green liners:

Been using my basic one in BCM for backpacking for at least a couple years now as well, and it's fulfilled that role well :thumbup:. A friend was kind enough to regrind it for me recently, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs as a full flat.

This just arrived a few days ago and I am very excited. Its a Wetterlings Bushman axe. I'm just getting in to axes and I wanted something that I could take camping and backpacking. I chose this model because it seemed like the right size and weight. Maybe now I can stop battoning my poor knives lol. Anyway, this is my first "nice" axe and I'm really eager to see what I can do with this thing.

I bought this little 8' flat bottom jon boat/dinghy. A deal I couldn't pass up. Got 2 sets of oars and pins with it too. Should clean up pretty good.
