Congrats on your 1st 1911! Love the clean GI look of the RO and the fact that SA put good useable sights on it instead of the actual GI sights. The case looks pretty nifty too and I never get tired of staring at the SA's iconic cross-cannons logo.:thumbup: I don't have any Springers yet, but after seeing kamagong's Custom Carry in a previous thread, it's on my lust-have list.. I'll have to join in on the fun and splash some pics up later; in the meantime, I'm enjoying the pic show in this thread.

The tomahawk has a curly maple haft, the 1911 curly koa grips, and the bowie a curly walnut handle.

Here's one you don't see that often anymore.

Wilson Combat KZ-45 M1911 with polymer/kevlar frame. Shown here with white light system and Blate Tech holster. Accuracy guaranteed to 1.25" at 25 yards, it shoots better than I ever will. Very fine pistol, never had a FTF, FTE or hiccup of any sort. It was my primary defensive firearm and main training gun in classes from CA thru AZ to FL before I crossed-over to full house customs.
