Here is my American Classic made by Metro Arms. It's a solid performer. IMG_0914.jpg

the last single stack I built in the mid 90s.... SA with BoMar rear, dovetailed front, Briley match barrel... stippled frame... flat trigger... Ed Brown safeties... S&A mag well... used it for at least 6 years of USPSA and 3 gun competition... probably 35,000 rounds... semi retired now, switched to a G34

My Kimber Classic my wife bought for me in 1997, the most reliable 1911 I`ve ever owned. I made the G10 grips for it myself.

Love those grips John. Do you still make them or are they only for you?

Ruger SR1911, I like it better than my Glock 30, but I can't shoot it as well as the Glock yet.

P.S., that Ed Brown Kobra Karry got my you know what hard! Awesome gun!

I've had a few others but this is my only one currently. Springfield Armory Operator. It resides next to a pair of W. German Sig P220's, some glocks and a few wheel guns.

Used to be mine but ended up as an anniversary gift for a buddy. He knew I was thinking about selling it and wanted it but his wife made me tell him I already had it sold and bought it behind his back. It went from bone stock Colt to this:

Wilson trigger, Government mag with grip extender, some simple internals and grips I had made for him.
