I’ve understood this was an AB Sr. Knife from before his original Orca but @Sharp&Fiery may be right. They definitely have talked about doing a button lock folder.

This was our very first attempt at making a folding knife 14 years ago. A cnc machine shop in SA helps produce these and we only did 300. After the run we decided to save up money to do it ourselves as we are much more critical when it comes to quality. That is why after 14 years we managed to build the cnc shop we wanted to make our very first button lock in-house, all the parts except the ceramic balls. This will launch next month at African Sporting Creations. Hope this explains it a bit

It amazes me how little I see of the AB folders around in various parts of the forum. People do seem to have their brand favorites with a few other brands elsewhere in the forum.

I was stunned when I got my first iMamba and they continue to be my absolute favorite! Every time I put one in my pocket at the beginning of the day puts a smile on my face.

Just an out of the blue thanks to the AB team for making my favorite knife.
