This older beauty is just to darn purdy to use. I don't recall ever seeing a Sandra Brady scrimshaw on a knife handle. This is one of her early works of art on an original Arno Bernard Mad Dog knife.#UseYour$h!+
Especially when it's this good.
Very cool and unique AB! AB sell decent on the forum but it all depends on what your expectations are. I don’t collect AB fixed blades and I don’t see many trading hands here so I’m not sure what this would bring. Just guessing, maybe $400-$700. It will certainly be for a specific buyer given the artwork. This older beauty is just to darn purdy to use. I don't recall ever seeing a Sandra Brady scrimshaw on a knife handle. While I'm on this forum, I'd like to ask if AB knives sell well on the for sale forum? I moved to Thailand several years ago and I'm back in the states now for a shoulder replacement surgery and I'm considering disposing of my knife collection.
They make a very very sturdy knife. And lovely lines. The blade grind too is expert level.I recently received my first Imamba knife with Desert Ironwood scales and am very impressed with the build quality.View attachment 3186383
Bone, tusk or elforn?I seriously considered the ivory coloured scale. I like that contrast. I eventually got an Orca with a smashing blue and black forged French-made carbon fibre. I thought Orca + Ocean blue. Very groovy. A sentimental piece for my 50th birthday. Serial No is 050.
