Soooooo I got my 14 in today, as a birthday gift. I decided to wrap the handle in paracord. Whoa wait a minute I thought, better put it in its sheath so I dont cut myself! Brilliant right? So everything was going well until I tried to cinch down the cord at the end of the handle. What I did was pull on the cord, which pulled the knife out of the sheath at lightning speed, dragging it through my thumb, almost all the way to the bone. 8 shots of Lidocaine and 7 stitches later and here is what Ive got. Another lesson learned. LOL

Looks like an intern did those sutures, very sloppy work. The skin should not be all bunched up like that.

Aftermath of a Becker bite. I thought it might make a cool patina but it just washed right off lol. Pumpkin reside as well, bite happened during pumpkin carving.
