You lie! I don't blame you for wanting some pics with your blade in it. It looks amazing.......it'll look better with my knife in it. :)
 
This is an old pic when it was new and clean. I put some tabs of grip tape on the scales after I bead blasted them. I'll post a recent pic tomorrow.

Had to clear some over-hang from one of our trees earlier. Just for sh%^s and giggles I decided to use this wal-mart machete. Good thing I didn't expect much, cuz that thing dulled with about 5 swipes. I busted out my little BK11 and that thing just went to town! Remember, mates, bigger isn't always better :thumbup:

 
Here's my BK7. Used the grapefruit method to force a patina. That's two applications, think it turned out pretty nice. I'm thinking of dyeing the micarta handles, I have some brown leather dye I could try that I think will look nice with the grayish pattern of the patina. Also, does anybody know what's up with the ridges in the bare steel (you can kind of see them in the second pic)? Are these blades machined or ground? I always assumed ground, but for high production a cnc would make more sense
