Post your Becker knives pics here

Vacationing in the Dominican Republic. I came prepared.
Sorry GeofS your picture did show.

I feel the need to preface posting links to these pictures for the purpose of dissuading anyone from sending me hate mail for "ruining a perfectly good Becker BK2." So please just let it be known that Mr. Ethan Becker himself personally encouraged me to do this to his amazing design. Thank you. Sincerely, a fellow Beckerhead.

*I apologize for the less-than-optimal and clunky links.

Without further ado, I proudly present to you a fully convexed Becker BK2.

That is truly a thing of Beauty. Nice job:thumbsup::thumbsup: Its great having a 1/4 inch of awesome steel to work with. I'm a bit jealous!!!!!

Thanks, Tanker, I seriously appreciate that. It did take me a bit of time, effort and determination to get it right, as it was my first attempt at convexing a BK2. Having professionally sharpened thousands of standard v-bevel saber grind knives over the past couple of years, I feel that I now have the muscle memory pretty well set and I look forward to doing it all over again! I also gave it a 90 degree spine but left the spine rounded where someone might put their thumb (where jimping usually goes). I personally don't put my thumb there when using knives, but I know that some do, so I figured I could make the best of both worlds by sharpening the spine just forward of the logo and blending it back. Thanks again for your kind words, it is a bit intimidating posting a modified Becker in this forum! =]
