Excuse me JV3, but what is the knife with the red paracord between the BK2 and the striker? I like that. Great idea for the striker handle by the way. It's the pic where 4 knives are on a cutting board.

I was thinking i'd try to help identify this, what page are you seeing it on, post # would be better.

This eskabar is my first becker. Bought it on impulse and under the influence of beer and free shipping. Picked up some tigerstripe resinwood and tried making some scales for it, and the results aren't too embarrassing for a first try.

Hey all first post here.

I bought my bk7 a month ago, but didnt want to post pics until I got it a little modded up.

Nice looking rig, and welcome to the forums. Stick around, always lots going on around here.

Those scales look awesome bro!

Thanks, I'm liking it more and more. The handles aren't perfect, and it showed up from Amazon slightly bent, so I managed to straighten it with the slightest wobble at the choil area, so I figured it would be a perfect candidate for a first try at handle shaping. It's definitely replacing my Izula for daily carry. Even if I put scales on the Izula I think I really prefer the blade size, thickness, and shape of the Eskabar.

That looks amazing. I got my green handles for my 11 from Michael at Saint Cutlery. Really nice guy. The first pair he sent ended up in Ohio according to the tracking. I let him know and he sent me another pair right out. In the meantime mine made it from Ohio to Texas so now I have another pair coming in that I will have to return. He was so nice about it I am thinking of going ahead and buying them and using the extra pair to do a giveaway.
