Post your Becker knives pics here

So, I'm trying to work off some of the Winter "temporary water weight" (read: Rolling Rock) :D

Got into the woods with my new saw and BK 7 - made a little firewood.

Just clearing out some dead standing stuff. Splitting by hand.

A good work out. Got some firewood. Broke in the saw. Got to use the 7. Couple cold ones :D

But ... the stupid thing is, for $50 you can get pick up truck full of seasoned, split, cord wood, delivered around here. Too Funny.

yeah, but you lose the work out :)

oh, every one of those beers is like drinking a full sugar soda. adds up.

was watching this 1.5 hour long video on the evils of sugar, and why you (we) should NEVER EVER eat anything with refined sugar (or flour)... they're "useless" calories... they lumped beer into it, and actually said they were referring to "lite" beer. regular good beers are worse.

supposedly the AVERAGE American eats over 150 lbs of refined sugar per year in various products. mmm. fat making.

i should try hunting those figures down sometime and how they measure them.

however, the point is: one can live a nice life and eat well without consuming [overly] processed foods. cutting up potatoes to fry them in bacon isn't processing, isn't cooking. turning wheat into something that's 50% sugar and 10% wheat and god knows what else in a factory and presenting it as breakfast cereal is processed :> overly.

now, split more :)

You mean my 22oz bottle of Russian Imperial Stout with 10.5% abv isn't slimming???

Next your gonna tell me it doesn't count as 1 drink

even some of those stupid cans these days say "1.5 servings" or some nonsense :>

"only 44 carbs per serving"... bottle has 4 servings...

aside from the fact that nobody should be consuming that many simple carbs per day unless they are REALLY working it (elite athlete, lumberjack, something).

us couch potatoes can literally get by with zero simple carbs in our diet. more than get by really.

and by simple carbs, i'm referring mainly to refined sugar, esp HFCS, but sucrose too. flour. alcohol. things made from those...

I rode the magical pony into to town today with waylon, willie and the boys in tow. Imbibing fermented beverages whilst batoning mighty wood, I'm a lucky man.
