I like that sheath position! When I finally get some rivets in and make a new sheath for my 14 I may try mounting like that. Is that just a snap that connects the belt loop to the sheath on the back side?

If I'm looking right, this is the Contego's little bro the Rift. I have a Contego and I'll say you will definitely love it :) its a pretty awesome blade and a stout folder. The axis lock is awesome. I have a 14 and really want an 11 now....Soon!

Thank you. And yes, it is just a simple pull the dot strap.

You know, I believe you're correct, that it is the Rift. No matter, the Contego is what I want, and ordered. Not like I needed another Benchmade, but I'm more addicted to them than Beckers.

I'm with you there. Benchmade is top notch when it comes to folders. I ate with Les at the forum lunch at blade this year and it made me like them even more. Really cool company.

My first Becker, the BK9 hoss next to my CRKT Hammond Cruiser and a big pile of cedar shavings before they were sacrificed to the grilling gods. I can say I am very impressed with this knife straight from the box. It will need a nice custom leather sheath, which I am more than happy to put my skills toward. Then some pimpin'...got lots of ideas from you guys!

newbie here thanks to all for the pictures you have posted my wife has seen some and no longer thinks i'm crazy, just part of a group she can't begin to understand:chuncky:
