Boerne, I knew I recognized the Texas limestone. I'm up 281 in Marble Falls.
 
Hey all...i'm very new here and i've been looking thru this thread while waiting for that damn mail lady...good thing i have 4 days off cause it took me 3 of them to go thru every single of these 3002 posts......! Great job everyone,will post in a near future.

Ha! Yeah, I have been wanting one ever since I found out about them. Before I joined this forum.

Too bad it isn't going to look pretty for long.

This is my first mod project. I stripped the finish and added a 90 minute vinegar patina, added a pouch from my local Army / Navy store, added a tek lok for horizontal belt carry and added stainless handle hardware. I also grinded the spine so that it will throw sparks from a ferro rod. I love this set up and it was easy and fun to do. Now I'm going to pick up a BK10 and work on that.

I gave this some thought, and finally went at the wrap when I could relax and work it out. I plan to gut the neck lanyard and sleeve it over ball-chain so as not to inadvertently hang myself.
