Post your Becker knives pics here

Those are the same as the screws I got from Tommy the Who. Round on both scales, one is male threads, the other is female.

New addition...BK2S

super slick handles love the blue w/black omenwolf. I bought micarta with my recent addition a bk2 and was thinking about a ryte dye blue. and slapping them on my bk7 for a nice change over the black. feels like I got good purchase on my bk7 but a shame they don't work with my bk2 and sheath. I could make work but don't want to tamper with the sheath to much. if it ain't broke right.

Do you havea link for the ferro rod holder on the 16? I have been finding myself looking for one as late. Really digging how the scales turned out.

Nvm, I found them on everyones favorite bidding site...

Some of you may remember my BK9 fighter....it's still around. I'm about to do a BK10 little brother for it.

Funny story: after I made it I had brought it along on a trip. Well I couldn't find the thing for about 6 months and was racking my brain trying to figure out where it went. Turns out it was under my wife's driver seat of her car that whole time. Glad she didn't get pulled over or something :D

Anyone else done a mod like this to the 9? Every time I take mine out and look at it while working on it, I think about grinding down that swedge tip into more of a classic curved look like the one pictured. I'd love to see more pictures of this knife or others with this mod.

And the addition of the fuller is awesome. Would love to do this too but I don't have a mill. Wonder if a local machine shop with a mill could do it?

It would be easier on tooling before heat treatment, but a competent shop/machinist can still do it.

Is there a name for those or do you have a link where they can be ordered?

I used #10 x 32 - 1" phillips/panhead screws in stainless with matching stainless nylon-locknuts on my BK2. Tommy left a note of the hardware he used, but I can't find my receipt from him.

Thanks. I'd like to get a round head screw on both sides to eliminate the need for carving out the hex in the new handles :).

My BK16 arrived today and I have already stripped it and changed the scales. Tomorrow I think I will patina it and sharpen it to a razor's edge.

I'm going to have to get some outdoor pics or I'll start to feel left out of all the fun.

A Sex Bolt, also known as a barrel nut, barrel bolt, Chicago screw or post and screw, is a type of fastener (nut) which has a barrel-shaped flange and protruding boss that is internally threaded. The boss sits within the components being fastened, and the flange provides the bearing surface. The sex bolt and accompanying machine screw sit flush on either side of the surfaces being fastened. It is normally chosen because of its low profile compared to other nuts. The sex bolt often has a built-in feature, such as a slot, to aid in tightening the fastener. Some sex bolts, more commonly known as architectural bolts, have knurled barrels to allow one-sided assembly. Binding posts are similar to architectural bolts in that they are designed to be assembled from one side, but they have teeth on the flanged surface to keep them fixed. They were originally designed for the printing industry to bind large catalogs together.

There are a few names to enter in a search above, I hope that helps.

A #10 screw is 3/16" in diameter.
