Post your Becker knives pics here

My new BK7 with Ipe scales by Tommy. What a difference they make!

Hmmm ... what to cook for dinner ... let's see ...

That's a 1997 edition. So well used the spine is broken. ;)

Just got in a new 17. I sold a BK2 to fund the backpack in the pictures, and I have no regrets about that. This new knife feels far more practical, more handy. Paper-slicing sharp, right out of the box, too. Next order of business will be stippling those scales, though they do feel pretty good as they are.

Is the pack the 5.11 Rush 24?

New to the Blade Forums, and this is my first post in the BK&T sub-forum.

I JUST got my first Becker last week: the BK11.

Here it is as it was minty out of the box:

(the USMC Fighting Knife is one I've had for a couple years, just got the Kydex sheath at the same time as the BK11)

After some paracord:

And finally, after I used it to baton some kindling for a fire and whittle myself a fire poker last Saturday night:

SUCH a great little knife! Can't wait to get another one, probably a BK2.

I didn't have the budget to buy a high end BK2 Sheath to replace the Tonka Toy sheath it came with, so decided to attempt making one. Came out decent enough, but I will be making another with a few simple design changes. Let me know what you think, and what you would do differently. I'm very new to leatherworking, and don't have a lot of fancy tools yet, so I was trying to keep it simple.

Meet the family...

BK2 and 9 not modified as of yet, 14 and 15 stripped and scaled.
Thrift store leather weight lifting belt scales with Tupperware epoxied liner, my bees beeswax coating. Plan on doing a full write up with my BK5 when it arrives soon!

Can't get these to show up bigger with postimg.org, oh well, just click it. Still low quality tho, sorry...

Thanks for looking!:eagerness:

Looking good, but you're counting too fast....unless the camera adds length as well as pounds, that's a 9.

the ladies undressed and freshly patina'd

now they're dressed and ready to play

bk9 takin selfies, she so fine (handle by tommythewho)

bk2 takin selfies too, damn she got some junk in that trunk

love the way the patina came out on the girls, gives them a sort of this mean/bad ass modern/high tech look (wrapped in paper towel + added white vinegar for about 2-2.5 hours)
