Slayed a steak with my 15.

The hardware is starting to rust. Anyone have an extra set of stainless I can purchase?

Love the pics dogg!! The 2 is one of the few blades I will NEVER let go of!!!

And yes I agree..........its one hell of a chopper!
Thanks, I always see people talking crap about the bk2 saying it works but doesn't excel at anything. I strongly disagree, it will chop down a tree longer than the blade with ease, It'll baton wood longer than the blade all day long (providing you know how to accomplish this and aren't trying to go straight down the middle). I can easily make feather sticks with it and do fine work. O yea there's also the fact that it's basically indestructible. If I could only choose one knife to have with me in a survival situation it would be the bk2.

I have 2 knives that are always with me, either in my truck or in what I consider my get home backpack if I'm traveling for work (except when I'm flying of course, then there in my checked luggage until I land). Each one serves a purpose for 2 scenarios, wilderness survival and urban survival. The bk2 is mainly my wilderness knife but could also function in urban scenarios giving it's sharpened pry bar status, but my main urban knife is my lmf2 with is skull crusher, serrations, and ability to cut live wire. Thou that last ability is highly unlikely it's good to know it's there.

Pardon the time difference, but what model is it and did you do the work yourself, cause it looks damn good.
Looks like a bk2, stripped with patina, jimping added, and custom scales.

I could be wrong thou, from the pic it almost looks longer than the bk2, but I'm thinking that may be an illusion from the angle it was taken.

It's a stock BK2 with some tiger maple scales made by crimsonfalco, IIRC. Cryptyc hasn't been around in a while, I don't think, but I sent the wood to crimsonfalcon and he made them for that BK2. The jimping, shallow finger choil and patina were done by Cryptyc, IIRC.

My first Becker, got it about a week ago. Stripped the black epoxy off and boiled it in vinegar. Strider wrap on the handle that I did this evening. I have some Boltaron and a Tek Lok coming next week so I can make a sheath for it. I'm really liking the knife so far.

New to becker all together and so far I'm hooked. The 15 will definitely be my new outdoor EDC. No pics of it but used the 15 to chop up all the wood for the small fire and it handled the task with ease. Almost felt like it was asking for more haha. :D

Used these 2 for carving up some hot dog roasting sticks

Carved our (my fiance and I) initials in a huge piece of driftwood

My serrated BK11 isn't in this pic, though that one doesnt see a whole lot of use (I'm not a serrated guy)

I need to buy more now haha

My first entry into the photo thread. Just got my BK12 in and put some Tommythewho scales on it.
