Fail. No BK4
Fail. No BK4
Waiting patiently for the bk21......but my patience is being tested, if I see a good deal on a bk4, I may have to get one.
Just got mine for $62 - best deal I've seen yet (4,5, and 15 are dirt cheap right now with free 2 day shipping-I assume you know where that is haha)
Wow! Peer pressure much?!? LOL
haha glad i could help encourage you to buy another one
My freshly stripped bk2, for those of you who have polished this knife how long did it take you to get all the pitting, scratches, and tooling marks off? I started sanding and haven't made a dent in the marks, just polished around em lol

Just for $#!+$ and giggles, and bc I can. That's why. I'd never polished a knife b4 so having a freshly stripped bk2 in front of me I figured why not. It gotten plenty of use and will continue getting plenty of use. It's one of the most used and abused knives I own. Why? It's a BK2....yer just gonna abuse it anyway. Polish shmolish. It looks great....now go beat the $#!+ out of it!

That's what I did for removing the pits and grind marks. Took a 2x4 and wrapped sand paper around it, it grips the work bench and allowed me to grip the knife with both hands and go to town.Good job, more so because you did it the hard way, the path of elbow grease,
(btw, if you sand free hand, use a block (flat piece of wood etc) if you just use folded sandpaper it will ride over the bumps instead of ironing them out, it will take you longer)
