Post your Becker knives pics here

That's what I did for removing the pits and grind marks. Took a 2x4 and wrapped sand paper around it, it grips the work bench and allowed me to grip the knife with both hands and go to town.

Good job, 1095, how long did it take you to get that finish?

All together about 8 or 9 hours now. Most of the time was spent on 120 and 180 grit just removing the grind marks and pits. I then progressed to 220,320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500. Spending about 10-15 minutes per side thru each grit, then followed with black and green compounds and some flitz polish.

Lol yea it leads to sore arms, but I spread it out over 2.5 days so wasn't as bad. Yes a power sander would've been nice, but all I had was a grinder and dremel which could've both messed up the blade really quickly so I played it safe.

Just got my BK15 back from Marcus Claxton after some modding and boy is it nice. Very light and fast and the scales really tie in with the leather; spalted maple with a light red stain. Now it needs to be "baptized."

Don't do them as attachments. Link directly to wherever they're stored (imgur, flickr, etc.) There's a thread in here somewhere, but I can't find it. so I'll do this one instead:

Play around with it, you'll figure it out. For my purposes, I use flickr....and click the "share" button, which lets you choose a size, then I copy and past the link. than I have to edit out everything outside of the "

Ha! I was thinking the same thing. Love it. You need to set some time aside for the Fall Northeast Gathering.....it's a LOT closer than Tennessee. Usually around Columbus Day....

i know, i know. i considered the spring, when i had to bag out of the tennessee trip, but already had plans. are there already set dates? the fall is tough due to hunting, but would love to share a pint. cheers.
