Lol, nice one

That's what I just bought a bottle of for tomorrow night , makers mark. And a bottle of the kraken to share with my mates.

After completely polishing it, sanding it down then trying out blueing it, then several soaks in hot vinegar I finally have a finish I'm happy with.

The mirror polish was nice looking but not practical to upkeep on a knife that's used allot. Then I just didn't like how the blue looked, so I removed it and sanded it down some more. After 2 long soaks in hot vinegar (occasionally reheating the vinegar) I got a nice patina on it. I then decided to sand it down a lil more and I finally got a result I'm happy with. It's kinda like a satin finish now, but all the forced patina experiments and sanding completely destroyed the edge. So I set the bevel using the ko work sharp so I'd have an even grind then sharpened it using sandpaper over a thick piece of leather starting at 220 grit and ending with 2500.

Now I just need to get my g10 handles and a kydex sheath and I'm done with this one.
