Post your Becker knives pics here

I wonder why my backpack is heavy today...

I'm so proud of your collection!! Seriously!

Just put several coats of krylon fusion camo olive on the scales for the 4 and 24. Looks pretty good so far, will see how long it lasts.

Cleaned up the scales and added some orange paracord with reflective strands. Also, the RAT 1 scales came out surprisingly well, preserved all the texturing and all.

Great pics, folks. I am afraid to do a head count, now....too many gatherings attended, too many (tho some would say just enough) outright purchases.....

Some of these photos should go into the "family pics" thread.

Probably depends on who is doing the commenting. Your friends? Just right. Your wife? Too many. Your loan officer? Not enough. Your investment advisor? Too many, probably, unless they are all BK20s.

New micarta x 3

Yeah, I should probably neaten up the 20 a bit - it was a bit cool outside yesterday for stripping. I'm going to keep using it, though; so I'm not really concerned with a few errant black spots.

Dam I need a Brute

Trust me when I say this: you do not. I own one; and as has been discussed on many, many occasions here in the BK&T sub, aside from looks, you're better off spending your money on ANY of Ethan's other offerings in a similar size range. BK-9, BK-4, BK-21 and BK-20 all outperform the Brute. Which I'm sure won't dissuade anybody from buying one, as it did not dissuade me. However, I bought mine for a more than reasonable price....which is good, because I don't personally believe in safe queens. So, it's been used, modified a bit....and hell no, I ain't selling it, so don't ask. Seriously, though....there is a reason why it's been discontinued for so long, and why it's never coming back. Mine was unusable as a knife when I got it LNIB with the factory edge, which was actually obtuse at about 100°. I spent the better part of an hour with my KOWS to bring it to 60°-70° inclusive. Before I did that, it would just bounce off of sh!t. Now it actually performs knife functions, but for chopping, I'll take the aforementioned Beckers any day of the week.

Not that the Brute isn't a damn sexy looking blade (to some), but beauty is only skin deep on that one. Ugly goes straight to the bone.

They do look cool. I need a BK21 as well. I'm going to try and get one at a good price, I've seen so many talk about poor performance versus other blades.

Still look cool

Yeah, they look cool. But, looks only take you so far. Get the 21 first. And by all means, get a Brute if you want to....just, well...be forewarned.
