When you say Japan model, are you talking about the light colored one? And the 21 is the coated one? It looks like the 21 is thicker than the uncoated one?

No, the shiny one you have that doesn't have the BK&T handle I believe was made in Japan for Blackjack and is close in weight to the 21 if not a little heavier. I was just trying to give you a prospective in the difference between the three .Yes the 21 is thicker and is heavier than the uncoated BK&T. :)
