Refinished my Esky

Had Todd redo my edge on the 9. Clearing Brush in my gf's yard and I found a cinder block she didn't know she had. I chipped the he'll out of it when I found it, so Todd hit her(knife, not gf) with his sander.

Idaho, did you put a satin finish on that? Looks purdy.
Actually I forced a patina on it and didn't like it, so took it off with some 1500 grit sandpaper and then went over with it with 0000 steel wool. The scales I actually on purpose rubbed huckelberries all over them, it gave them just a very mild purple color which I made a little darker and took the purple out with just a tiny bit of olive oil. I went real light on the oil to prevent it from going rancid.
