I thought it would be interesting to see the numbered charred oak Beer Scouts posted in one thread. Don't get me wrong, all Beer Scouts are welcomed but seeing just the number charred Beer Scouts posted here would be interesting.

I'm curious to see how many show up here. I assume there are many traditional knife buyers that do not frequent Bladeforums so seeing the members here post their serial numbered charred Beer Scouts may shed some light on how influential the buying Bladeforum members are.

So out of 225? released lets see what number/s you have. Mine arrived yesterday and its a beauty. Mine is #91 and the same numbered coin/token that comes with the Beer Scout is a nice compliment.

That's a beauty you got there Paul. Lot's of character in the charred wood. :thumbup:

Wow, they are beautiful and exactly what I was after. Instead I get this, #223, a deep gouge/splinter with sharp edges and the finish peeling up, deep ding between pin and bolster and a paper thin, hollow underneath area below the nail nick.

Paul I am enjoying the pictures on this thread and appreciate you starting it however if I can find one tomorrow I guess you just cost me about $100 with it because I really think I need one of these beauties. :D

They look great!! Mine is waiting in my mail box!
Heirphoto, send it back for repair/replacement. Every once in a while, a second sneaks through - sigh.
 
This thread prompted me to check tracking to make sure mine was still on schedule for delivery tomorrow only to find it was delivered to my mailbox yesterday and I didn't even notice! :eek: Couldn't wait 'til tomorrow morning to see what I got so out in the dark and cold to the mailbox I went.

#65 for me. Too dark for good photos, but I couldn't be more pleased. :thumbup:

Great Thread Paul ! I was hoping there'd be a running list with all #'s . So it would be easier for me to keep track and bam you did it 😊
