post your complete edc package

Wallet
Samsung cellphone
Whatever folder I'm carrying for the day, I rotate between several
SAK Midnight Manager
Keychain which has my house and car keys, nail clippers, couple of grocery store "discount card" things, small Energizer flashlight, and a kubaton that is carried more to make my keys easier to find and get out of my pocket than for use as a weapon

That's pretty much it for normal carry. No guns(I own several, but I haven't gotten a CHL permit), no watch(anytime I leave the house, I have my phone which has a clock, I keep my phone charged), no multitool(the SAK has pretty much all the tools I am likely to need), no secondary folder(my regular folder takes care of all my knife tasks just fine, if something somehow happens to it the SAK is backup enough)

Mine change every once in a while depending on my mood or where I,m going that day,
But as of now/today it,s,
1 Glock29 in a don hume IWB holster at 3:30 to 4 o clock position,
2 S&W 442 right front pocket
3 NAAmini 22mag left side crossdraw
4 spyderco matriarch right rear pocket
5 microtech ultratech right front cargo pocket (all I wear is cargo pants)
6 wallet
7 keys
8 sometimes cell but being 70% deaf mostly no phone
9 neck knife in a kydex sheath
10 and finally my timex watch...I may need a briefcase if I think of anything else to carry.

I...can't help but ask, do you live in a warzone or something? I mean, I understand carrying something for self defense, but you carry 3 pistols, a purpose designed defensive knife, and an OTF knife generally marketed as a "tactical" knife? Okay, maybe you use the Microtech for your daily tasks(then you have a backup for that, with the neck knife) but still, that's 4 dedicated weapons, plus 2 more knives for good measure? I think the last time I saw someone packing that many weapons I was watching The Expendables. Just seems odd to carry that many weapons, but no flashlight(you're a lot more likely to be in a power outage or need to look under something than be in a situation where you need 3 guns and a defensive knife, I'd think) and rarely a cell phone(yeah, I understand, 70% deaf means not many phone calls, but if you're in an accident, or a fire breaks out, or you witness a hit and run or something you could at least call 911). I'm not anti-gun(I own several, as well as a Matriarch), so don't take this as some kinda anti-gun thing, I'm just genuinely curious why you choose to carry 3 of them(plus at least 1 dedicated offensive blade) rather than some useful but more mundane items.

Right Pocket - Knife, pen, and Phone
Left Pocket - Knife and flashlight
Back Right Pocket - Wallet

To be specific:
Right Pocket - ZT 0560cbcf, Black Hinderer Pen, and Android phone.
Left Pocket - Spyderco Dragonfly ZDP-189 and Olight s20 Baton.
Back Right Pocket - My Duck Tape Wallet.

.

I have flashlights in my car and truck plus several at home and two in my toolbox but just never carried one, as to the phone I grew up before they were even out so basically I just do not like them.
The why? No war zone but close enough for central Florida, I have to go to Pine Hills a lot also known as Crime Hills the murder capital of orange county, already 10 guys shot this year thats since January 1st,
But the main reason I guess is that I never mean to be under armed..I could do with a little less but I,m comfortable with what I carry so I,ll stay with it. And I would have never taken your post as anti gun most people think I go overboard with my choices..

Typical:
Glock 19 or XDM Compact .45 in a king tuck, extra clip on left side of belt and another in the car
Endura 4 ZDP / PM2 or Millie Sprint / 710 M390 / Pacific Salt
Big Skinny wallet
Fenix E05 and Ladybug Salt with keys.
iPhone5
Carmex, Bic

This is another reason why I love FRN and lighter knives... Because I carry bigger/heavier pistols and a bulky heavy knife is an added drag.

During the summer dressed down I pocket carry a Ruger LCP.

In the market for a smaller CCW. Love the P-01 but it's a little bulky.

You never know when the mean streets of Texas might catch you off guard? ;)

I'm told that Texas has state officials that go around performing Nutnfancy style gear checks. If you aren't carrying a gun, they write you a ticket on the spot. True story!

LOL

To be fair, the guy says he lives in Central Florida. I carry a gun for the same reasons he does, most likely (I live here too). I don't carry three of them, but hey, if you can pull it off comfortably, more power to ya!

Let me post up in keeping with the topic:

On my person:
- two knives: currently, it's my Spyderco GB and a Lionsteel Big Opera I just got from a member at the marketplace
- Coach wallet
- Bulova Precisionist
- ST Dupont lighter in pouch, tucks right into my change pocket in my jeans
- Oakley sunglasses bag (I am giving my eyes a rest from wearing contacts so I need something to clean my glasses)
- on those days I conceal carry on my person, I have a Kahr CW40, which I carry in a variety of ways. Either a Crossbreed supertuck, or smaller IWB holster.

I also carry a Maxped Jumbo Versipack that has a lot of different items in it, but some highlights include:
- multiple flashlights
- A S&W M&P 9mm (fullsize) with a total of three mags, loaded for bear
- A spare folder or two
- FAK
- spare toiletry items, cologne, gum, etc. Gotta look your best.

And that's about it.

Well here it is, pretty inexpensive (i dont got much money) and pretty minimalist. But it works for me. Wallet was 12$ from walmart watch was a gift from my gf for xmas.

Being born in Brooklyn NY and then living in inner city Chicago for 14 yrs and recently moving to Freedom loving FL. I love Truth-seekers vibe :-)!!!!

G-Shock GA-100
Oakley Crosshairs
Brass zippo
Schrade titanium pry tool
Spyderco manbug
Stream light nano
Tru-Utility peanut lighter
Acme 363 tornado
Uzi tactical pen
SOG Bluto
Spyderco paramilitary 2

I can't forget my keys, wallet, and cellphone... Pretty much standard.

If I'm trying to travel light I'll leave behind the Ti-prytool, the manbug, the peanut lighter, the whistle, and the pen. I'll put the stream light nano on my keys, and replace my bluto and paramilitary2 with my manix2 LW

I try to carry only what is needed based on experience rather than preparedness. Don't smoke, so no lighter. Phone has a flashlight, and a clock, so don't need a watch or light. Have my CC but don't carry just for a "what if" situation.

At work I would also have an Olfa utility knife, and cut resistant gloves.

Isn't the "what if" situation the whole reason to carry.

For some people, maybe. Not a real high crime rate in most of my town, and I avoid areas where it is a possibility. I keep a gun in the dash and a few at home. Home invasion seems more likely where I live.
