  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

post your complete edc package

Some examples I've not been in an auto accident in 20 years and drive most days but I still wear a seat belt.

But you don't wear 3-4 of them, I assume...and you also have insurance I'm guessing.

That's kinda the point I was making. Needing 1 gun is a rarity, but it could happen, so I can understand carrying one. Needing 2, well, that's even less likely, but hey, I get it, 1 gun for each side, in case one of your arms is restrained and you can't get to your main gun or something. Even less likely than needing the gun at all, but okay, I can still follow. More than I'd wanna carry personally, but if you live/travel in a rough neighborhood, or something, I totally get that. But then add on a third gun, AND a defensive knife(in addition to the automatic OTF), but no phone? That was what was confusing me, to me that would be like, putting 4 fire extinguishers in your bedroom, but not bothering to install a smoke detector, or wearing 4 seatbelts, but disabling your airbags. It just struck me as odd to carry 4 weapons "just in case" but not carrying a phone. But truth-seeker said he's adding a phone to his carry list, so now he really is prepared for anything.

Its better to have it and not need it is how the old saying goes, I understand why some people choose not to carry certain items, I won't stop carrying items because some guy thinks I don't need it and that my chances of using said item are low lol people are funny. Carry as many items as you feel comfortable and don't let "well it probably won't happen so I won't carry it crowd" influence what you do. Be prepared for what ever you for see could arise in your daily life period.

This is my every day carry. The fanny pack carries my key's the Spyderco Szabo folder, wallet, Leatherman Juice2, and 4 different meds. It is just easier for me to use this. The Boker Arctos XL goes into my right front pocket, the Fenix PD22 rides on my belt in the sheath it came with. The G2 Limited and 4Sevens Preon 1 go into my shirt pocket. This setup works out good for me. Once I get my CC I will have my Sig Sauer P232 .380 in a high ride holster on right side just to the right of my back pocket, with a spare mag in my fanny pack.
