I bought the Zaan because I just needed to try it out to say I had experienced it. I really thought it was going to be too big and heavy for me to EDC and just assumed I would get it out of my system and move it along. Fast forward a few months and the Zaan has really grown on me. I love it. Yeah it's kinda big and it's kinda heavy but it's just so sweet. The ergos, while maybe not for everyone, work great for me. Opening is super easy and I've grown to like the somewhat silent dull "thud" you hear and feel when it flies open. It was weird at first but I really appreciate it now.
Bottom line, this thing isn't going anywhere. It's staying in the rotation.

The 'Zaan is a great knife, aleforme , and I'm glad to have one among my 7 CRK larges. An old pivot 'Zaan like the one @Makael picked up recently is on my want list. In the meantime, I'm a big fluted Ti fan and love my large 25 Starbenza along with the StarTac I carried today.

I find cleaning a 21 oddly therapeutic.

I'm happy. I't's sharp, a little different. It's mine.

Only carried this one for a short time today after picking it up from the p.o. The first scratch is gonna hurt but its bound to happen.
