Post your CRK carry knife for today.

Man, that is a beauty, Ernie. What are those inlays?

Regardless, here's my new-to-me large 21 Insingo that I posted a page or two back. I put a stubby little lanyard on it for now, but will look for some black/grey cord and a blasted ti bead. The knife came as a user and it's got lots of nice pocket-wash and carry marks already. Makes it a lot easier to put it right through it's paces.

As nice as Ernie's knife is, it's tipping the scales away from Micarta, so here's one shot of my new girl--

Yeah, I'm really digging them, Cjw. Loved those shots earlier of your pair with the natural Micarta. 25's, right? I have a hard time telling them from Inkosi's, but they're not out with inlays yet, are they?

I'm a big fan of the KnifeArt CF Sebenza. Mine is a large 21 that's a work user and looks like it's been attacked by giant alien snails. That knife was in my pocket about 75% of the time for a year. I just finished loosening up the action on it, taking a smidge off the lockside washer and polishing both. Comes out wicked easy now.

Edit: I was just over at the Exchange and saw a large Inkosi with natural Micarta inlays that look just like yours, so that pretty much answers my question. It had just sold, too, which saved me as I would have been wicked tempted to buy it.

Small serrated... don't see those every day.

The pattern on the backspacer definitely compliments the blade.

Quite true. It was a special order from CRK. Small 21 Micarta, serrated, double lugs. Took a year to get it. The biggest snag for them was the serrated blade, since they had stopped offering serrated blades after I ordered it. Apparently, I have the last small serrated 21 they produced as they had trouble getting a serrated blade for me (no more in stock).

It is one of my favorites, my big little worker. The micarta backspacer is an excellent addition. Really adds size and grip to the little guy. It's my EDC work CRK along with my Zaan.

The Micarta lanyard bead I ordered from Maverick Workshop came yesterday. I have some new cord on the way, but used this 550 Licorice I had lying around to tie this one. A few days ago I fooled around with a longer cord and it looked funny on a CRK. Now I like this one and the stock lanyards on my other Reeves are looking stubby. I may just start changing them out. I'm also liking not using the pin and just going through the holes for it. One can also just wrap around the pin instead of being forced to squeeze thinner cord through its small hole.

"Carry for today" is a bit of a stretch here, as holiday week slothfulness reigns in our house right now. Check out the time-stamp and know that I'm still wearing what I slept in. The knife is on the table next to me, though.

I like that lanyard on that insingo very cool. The carbon fiber inlay insingo is on my wishlist.

Thanks, brother. I think the days of the stock, stubby lanyards may be drawing to a close for my other CRKs. I'll probably keep my large 21 bocote stock as that knife is pretty much perfect and my only safe-queen.

As far as wish-lists go, I'm not sure what's next for me on the CRK front. The Insingo Micarta checked two boxes for me and I'm not sure if that means I get to skip a purchase or if I have to double-up as I'm behind now.

Went to CRK today..Usually go there a few times a year lately. Anyway, this was waiting for me.
Chatted with Anne and Tim for a good while.. Definitely some of the nicest people I know. Very personable to say the least.
After leaving CRK, I dropped by Cabelas to fill out a 4473, got home had to return to fill out another 4473.
Anyway, the gentleman behind that was helping me was carrying a CRK in his pocket..Absolutely the first time I have met someone in the wild carrying a CRK that wasn't a former or current CRK employee..I happened to be carrying this and showed it to him. "That's my next purchase!" Really a good guy and filling out the 2nd 4473 took more time than the first..Don't be surprised to see him show up here very soon :D

Large Black Micarta Inkosi! Very smooth out of the box!

What is a 4473.... nvm looked it up.

Yes,..I could have just stated what it was..for the most part, I mistakenly thought knife people know about background checks for gun ownership :)
