I also appreciate that the Zaan is the last remaining "old grind", keeping the deeper/smaller hollow grind I always loved on CRK's.Well, a few things:
1) The "double poon" is great for a normal saber grip, but the dip further up the blade is nice for choking up on draw cuts
2) The harpoon tip itself is nice to opening packages/etc when you don't want to get things on the main blade but have things that need opened or scraped, it is a bit sharper than the swedge of the Insingo
I really like the Insingo, quite a bit; but I am learning to find the Zaan quite useful in my day to day.
