    I sharpened my large Starbenza last night with a Sharpmaker and Knivesplus strop then added a lanyard to it. When I was tightening the lanyard my hand slid down the handle a bit. I guess I was gripping tight enough to force some meat into contacting the closed blade. It slices well :D

    Hey thanks! My favourite of my CRKs. The work was done by me. It started life as a box elder, and ended up a "faux jigged bone", with a few stops along the way. There was a thread that detailed its transition, but it died with the demise of Photobucket, so doesn't have pics anymore.

    I guess it's mad at me for mailing it to NY instead or carrying it but it broke a tip today doing menial work.. I'll have to pick up some sand paper and get the swedge pretty again

    Carried this last week on our way up north and the first couple days there. Switched to bright blue and orange homing beacon Spydies when we headed out into our woods and fields.

    My most frequent work carry pair which includes my old blade-busted-off-twice Buck Adrenelin beater for scraping, minor prying, digging out staples and all that stuff you shouldn't use a knife for--especially a sharp one.
