This mirrors my experience with the small. The main thing I notice with the small tanto is I “run out of blade length” on some jobs (cutting up an apple etc), where I would not with an Insingo or even a drop point. I know they are all the same total length, but the tanto does draw the point of engagement a lot further back, if that makes sense. Kinda hard to describe.

Yea that makes sense. I’ve never really spent that much time with my only small (21 micarta insingo). A tanto works pretty good for draw cuts, not as good as an Insingo, but it works
