Post your CRK carry knife for today.

It is clear based on the thumb stud that you are not obsessively opening and closing that beauty like some people I know 😳
LOL. Where's the room for fidgeting in "think twice cut once".
Tbh, im not concerned about the blue color wearing off. Rather, the ladder pattern on this knife is so darn close to perfect that I am dreading the inevitable thumb rub on the blade 🫣
Kettleman Kettleman can attest to how good the dammy pattern is.

I can and he's right! I had the opportunity to look at it before shipping it off to Iceland. That knife is STUNNING! Everything about it was perfect.

Haha. I totally get it. I am a committed user, but I have had the need to force myself through the initial stages of usership of a mint knife. It was interesting to watch my son, who I gave a new raindrop 31 to for graduation, just throw it in his pocket and use it without hesitation. The accumulated wear seems to not bother him at all. I’m not sure he notices it. In fact, the only comments ever from him were about the increased enjoyment of the knife as it broke in. What a great way to be!

I suspect you’ll enjoy the bonding that accompanies the patina of use, once you get started.

It's very nice but the blade is too clean. You should try a salt water patina. If it's Magnacut, try mixing in some vinegar. Perhaps a splash of muriatic acid.
I watched some guy on YouTube put bleach, water, salt, and Ajax together and submerge a magnacut blade in it for four days. The only thing that streaked was the thumb stud, and it wiped off with a towel! Pretty wild
