It's been every bit as dull, gray, and wet as forecast today, which should have inspired me to work in the shop on the tedium of prepping the two bathroom window sash for re-finishing. Instead I mostly relaxed, read, ate, took a loooong hot shower, and only messed with one of the sash a little, though I did fix the old micro-wave as a stop-gap ahead of its replacement arriving in a few days. It was our youngest's college nuker--he told us it cost him like 30 bucks at Benny's--owes no one anything, must be over 15 years old, and is funky enough to deserve replacement, working or not.
Anyway, I carried the same knife again, lightly touching it up and stropping before foolishly cutting sandpaper with it next door, so I did a full SharpMaker fresh edge afterwards, not feeling much like getting the EdgePro out. I was gonna use some file pics instead of taking any crappy indoor snaps, but found a picture-in-picture in my files that inspired this one...
...and shot more after re-sharpening.
