Post your Delica 4 pics here

Evidently This one is an earlier Delica 4

Ooh! A thread I can get into!
You guys ever cut anything with your Delicas?
I use mine fairly hard. No prying or throwing like I've been known to do with my Adamas or CQC-7, but I dont hesitate to cut anything with it.
Its one of my only knives I never ever need to adjust.
Mine has a polished clip off a Native 5.

I thought the Delica 4 didn't have a saber grind?

They all did until 2010-ish. Mine was from maybe 2007. I really don't remember, but it was a few years before the ffg versions were introduced. I wish I could find a timeline for the various model variations, but so far, no luck.

Thanks for the Spydiewiki reference. I got the timeline correct from memory, but it's good to get it confirmed. Prior to this one, I had a version 3 with ATS55 serrated blade, no Boye dent. I don't remember what I did with it, though, probably sold or traded it off.

I've got to put together some $$ and try one of these. Been looking and drooling for a long while but could never justify cost due to already owning a Military and a PM2. I need a Delica!!!!!!!!! Great pics!:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

My Delica 4 FFG actually actually gets more pocket time and use than my Military or PM2.

My fully-serrated, saber-ground Delica 4 is my favorite saber-ground knife, period. Cuts very nicely, with very little snagging like on some serrated knives. Though I don't know if they make them anymore(?).

I wish I could post pics...

The navy blue waved Delica also has a saber grind.

I have an irrational hate for black or any painted clips, because small scratches show so well. but then, these really really scratched up ones like OPs, start looking freaking awesome.

This is what it looks like now.

99/100 times I'll grab the D4 over the PM2.

What makes you and others tend to grab it over the PM2? Not the first time I've heard that. Very curious.

I am carrying my Purple Delica 4 today I took a picture of it on my desk but I can't post it up at this time

It fits my hand better, the FRN scales are much grippier (for me) than the G10 on the PM2. I much prefer the lock on the Delica, and I find it to be a better slicer. I also carry my wallet in the same pocket I carry a knife. I cannot remove the wallet without removing the PM2 first, which isn't the case with the Delica.

I have a feeling after hearing that it's smaller and lighter the better half will be wanting one of her own when she sees mine. She loves the PM2 but could never justify it because it's too big for her. The 3 never really sparked either of our interest. Delica it is!!
